If you would like to make a batch of this milk, you can, it will last in the fridge for 5 days stored in a glass bottle or a Pyrex container

Ingredients

  • 2 cups raw unsalted almonds
  • 3 cups filtered water
  • pinch sea salt
  • 1 teaspoon  vanilla essence

Method


Place the almonds in a stainless steel bowl and  pour the water over the top. Let it soak overnight.  

Next day, discard the water and rinse the almonds with fresh water.

Place the soaked almonds, 3 cups of filtered water, pinch of sea salt and vanilla essence in the food processor.  Process until combined and the liquid goes white, like milk.  Use a strainer to strain the almond milk. 

It's ready to  be consumed for a variety of items.  You can drink it, store it for the next day or make yummy desserts or smoothies or bowls. Whichever is your desire... it's natural and easy to digest and lactose free.
