These delicious biscuits are gluten free, dairy free and refined sugar free... great for those concerned about their health. Enjoy this goodness any time of the day.

Ingredients


  • 2 cups of Teff grains
  • 2 tablespoons of raw runny honey
  • pinch of sea salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp bicarbonate of soda
  • 1/2 cup rice flour
  • 1/2 cup olive oil or coconut oil
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 1 whole egg

Method


Pre heat the oven at 180 degrees C.

Take a bowl and mix all the above ingredients until just combined. If the mixture is too thick add extra almond milk.  The texture of this mixture is quiet firm.

Take a baking tray, line with grease proof paper. 

Place tablespoons of mixture in a baking tray leaving a gap inbetween them. 

Bake for 20 min or until the biscuits are firm.

After 20 min take the tray off the oven and let the biscuits rest on the tray until they are slightly cooled.  This will allow them to firm up. 

Its ready to eat.... enjoy....
